  1. Kubelik and Mahler, ... biggest thumb i can find ! Kubelik and Mahler both have the same Zodiac Sign ... here i go again.
  2. I believe that without any hesitation ... Totally coincidental. Thrift store find of today (5 euro). Heard the fourth and the eight before and thought they were very good. Originally released and recorded by Denon/Nippon. NP Symphonies Nos. 1&2
  3. Agree on everything you said, ... no problem at all. Recently discovered his Symphony Fantastique with a French Orchestra which i liked. I think this symphony should be executed in an exaggerated way. ... but ... Mahler, ... not for me.
  4. What is it why i don't like Bernstein's Mahler unlike quite a few other Mahler enthusiasts ?! It is not that i haven't tried ... it is what it is i guess.
  5. 😏 It's a fantastic classic ! Glad you like it too ! I am really digging the Nuttcracker but i am not a fan of the Swan Lake (also a classic recording from Rohzdestvensky). What about you ... ?
  6. thrift store find !!! Excellent performances and the box is pretty rare too (cheapest 35 euro used). I love trift store hunting !
  7. Time flies by while listening to this set.
  8. Sober yet revealing (album made during lockdown !). I've only listened once to this album, ... to be more precise i am listening at the moment. Never been a Nine Inch Nail fan but an ambient fan i am ... I've been searching for 'a particulair style' for some time after finding some pieces i liked but it took a while to find something satisfieing, accomplished, matured, rounded, art related, and masterfully crafted. I sometimes write poems and the feeling after accomplish something sublime, close to perfect, is a strange thing but beautiful nevertheless. Some tracks are downright poetic like a flickering brightness fighting an endlessly growing darkness. Mini-masterpiece !
