  1. Decade would be a good one to get for an overview of his work

    from 1966-76.

    My favorite Young:

    Harvest

    Tonight's The Night

    Zuma

    Everybody Knows This Is Nowhere

    After The Goldrush

He is also a huge proponent of analog and vinyl.

From what I hear his latest two, Greatest Hits and Prarie Wind,

    are great vinyl products.

  2. How do these Mother Fuckers sleep at night. Just a bunch of pricks making CDR's and laughing all the way to the bank. And, the support these outfits receive on this board makes me puke.

When will you EU dumb fucks wise up. Create something on your own, and if you can't, do not sell it in the USA.

What I have just posted will not register with 80% of you, oh well.......

Thank God for the ethical USA companies that license and market quality products, not CDR's made in a college dorm room. LMAO

To all of those at Uptown, I'm ashamed I could not do more to stop these EU criminals and wannabees.

    Alcohol?

    Good call.... :eye:

I got from 4 tickets from Tony Dorsett, when Dallas played in Seattle.....I supplied him with a few things....I spent a night with Dorsett, Hollywood Henderson, Stabauch,Danny White, Tony Hill(grew up with him in LBC).......My old GF still talks about that nigtht. :D

An old and dear friend got me tickets to tomorrows game in a more legitimate manner. He's been working with the Hawks for a few years.

  8. West Coast wise, Gonzaga is good as usual. Been keeping my eye on Washington. They will be solid again this year. They play the Zags on Dec. 4th, I think. I hope I can get tickets. Huge game up here.

Washington is 0-4 and against them. The Washington frosh, Brockman(#1 Best in West '05) is a stud, and putting up numbers out of the gate. WA next recruiting class was rated 3rd best. Friggin' who's who of Best In The West Top 15. Pondexter(I played some against his dad and uncle) from Fresno, along with Hawes(#2 big man in nation) and others will put this team in the final 4 in a year or two.

  9. Instead of the Spanish CD burn of a digital master they ripped off, I'll sell sell you a stunning burn of my original LP for US $7.99. Buy me a scotch and I'll drop it off to you. Wolff...in Newcastle....

  10. If these ones do not sound great, could anybody tell us what are the best BN reissues? I jave just started listening to LPs and there is no way I can afford BN originals on Ebay. They cost a fortune! What are the best BN reissues and where do you get them from?

Opinions vary on what are the the best BN reissues.

Many options, but if I was just getting into Blue Note vinyl(and vinyl, period) I'd start with a few(and if you like them, get more) inprint BN titles from Classic Records. Next, I'd get a few OOP Mosaic sets of Blue Note artists, like Tina Brooks, Thad Jones, Sam Rivers, Horace Parlan, etc.

Then, pick up some Japanese King and Toshiba-EMI titles from the 80's. Usually in good shape, with dead quiet vinyl and good sound.
