haha I think it has. Everything this yr has been about band band band. Nothing else I bought 3 new instruments b/c I was in need of them. I can only imagine what the coming yrs have to bring. I can say it will be uhhh like 10 times worse? I mean my room is starting to have a musical theme. I have tons and tons of posters. haha.

By the way I think I've think taken enough bs by most of you who replied to my topics.

Haha very funny. Okay 1) I do like the original. But I also like the one played by the group Weather Report. I like the arrangement by Micheal Sweeny. 2) B/c it's boring. And makes the song like a bajillion times longer. Well many people don't like long songs unless they have cool improv. solos. 3) Maybe he was Maybe he wasn't. I don't know. But who cares I LOVE THAT SONG! Bonus: This is a wierd question. I don't know. ;/

Haha I think I'm starting to LOVE this! It's too bad that jazz wasn't like being introduced as much back in the day. I was introduced at the end of 6th grade and have been playing jazz since 7th. I've learned quite a bit. We'd have listening logs and listen to a variety of music from Miles Davis, Maynard Ferguson, Charlie Parke,Count Bassie. Well we'd have to guess what type of jazz the song was like: be-bop, swing, new orleans, etc. The song that make me laugh the most is called Salt Peanuts, lol. Don't worry Jsngry I won't eff up. I have goals set for the next 4 years of high school. I plan on being in an orchestra or something like that when I grow up. Maybe even become a composer! I just find music fasinating! I admire anyone with mad skills! Meaning who are like really good musicians!

Okay fellas. I'm glad that's settled with! Rostasi I like you, now I consider you hip. And Mr. English teacher dude you're cool too. haha. Anyways how I found this place I was just searching Jazz forums because I had already signed up with another website for marching band and I thought "Hey why not find a jazz website just like this one?" And NO I'm not FBI or any of that crap you see one what's it called? Oh yeah Dateline NBC. So don't worry. I don't really consider myself foolish I do know what precautions to take when it comes to being online. Maybe some people just have different opinions on how you should do that. But enough of that. I enjoy jazz and wasn't really sure if this website was for teens like the marching band website was or mainly adults. I don't mind either just as long as you don't start nasty s*^# THEN I will be done! So about me I enjoy music it is a PASSION of mine! I've been plaing clarinet for 7 yrs for concert and marching. Then I play tenor/alto sax for jazz. I also enjoy flute and piccolo but don't play those two very often. But my all time favorite is violin! My favorite are the infamous ones which I'm sure most of you have all heard of. Coltrane, Ellington,Charlie Parker, Maynard Ferguson, and much more! My most favorite songs are Birdland and Chameleon and Tenor Maddness! Well I appreciate you all talking to me please continue it! Oh yeah and English teacher dude I will try my BEST to be more pro with my writing on the internet.
