What's the sound like on those Speakers Corner reissues? Really great! But the Verve German pressings are also very good sounding. And for OJC reissue`s: buy the BERNHARD MIKULSKI Schallplatten-Vertriebs-Gmbh pressing`s. The best sounding OJC`s.

I find that a clean on the VPI helps in this respect. I know what you mean though. The early mono PJs are fine though in this regard. Not like those rubbish World Pacific 'fold-down' monos. Agree Mono, and even stereo, early PJ smokes, I love my Curtis Amy suff. Please d`nt forget The Jazz Crusaders.
