    Lon--that's what I want to do. But do you have any tips for specifically finding the 1994 edition online (amazon/half/etc.)? Thanks.

    Well, I haven't really paid attention to Stones lps since "Some Girls." But of the Stones lps I did have and did listen to, "Exile" was my favorite, it was just sort of raw and "anti-commercial" seeming to me at the time. It's the only Stones I have had on cd, and even though it doesn't sound great I like the music. I placed an order for a used copy of the Virgin cd.

    Matthew doesn't need to lighten up, and I don't think he's overreacting. I had the same reaction. Extra moderators to help with the heavy lifting? No problem. But joking around in that role is unacceptable, in my opinion. Hit me the wrong way as well.

    I think we have a winner!! Hope my wife likes it too (it's really 'her' cat.)

    Edit: I just e-mailed her, only mentioning the name, without any explanation. Wanted to get her honest opinion on the basis of the sound of the name alone. If she's generally positive about it (if not quite "wildly enthusiastic"), then I think the back-story will sell her. Fingers-crossed.

    Hey all. My first-gen iphone is biting the dust, so I thought I'd check to see if anyone here has one kicking around after upgrading or what have you, that they'd like to sell me. second-gen is fine too, but seems less likely to be available used. No preference as to memory capacity; should still be AT&T-ready for me to pop in my sim card. Thanks for looking.

    That would be extraordinary. Who can we call to "encourage" them to allow you to do this? :)

    That's the original cover with a photo by Terry Martin. I've been telling Delmark I want to remaster the tapes and have them reissue it with that cover.

    Would someone who has the Blakey/Joe Gordon Verve Elite kindly do me a favor and pm me the bar code number or catalog number or any other identifying info? I can't find this damn thing to save my life. Thanks!
