Congratulations on your debut program, GoM. It was a treat. An hour format is difficult on the radio. It doesn't afford the opportunity to stretch out and relax the way you can with a program that is several hours long, or better still, a daily program. Too often, the hour format seems to steer the host towards being pedantic at the expense of being entertaining. You managed to avoid that trap and were highly informative and entertaining at the same time. What's exciting is that you will only improve on your auspicious debut over time. Again, congratulations.

It's going to be an interesting series against the Cubs this week. Pettite is scheduled to come back against Rusch Tuesday. Andy's ERA is superior, but otherwise the rookie's record is just about as strong. Clemens and Clement bring nearly identical records to what should be the game of the week Wednesday. The Miller and Prior matchup Thursday just caps what should be the most interesting weekday series in the NL this week. And this coming from a life-long, die-hard Cardinals fan.
