Fresh episodic composition that night by William Parker which was a tribute to Kalaparush Maurice McIntyre. The whol eband was precise, free and inspired with Hamid Drake and Cooper-Moore playing on a level unknown to most mortals. To see and hear Hamid Drake in a place like The Stone with this band is not something I ever expected to be able to witness. O'Neal's Porch, baby
