I love Maberns playing and have always been a fan of George Coleman, Buddy Terry and of course Blue Mitchell. Walter Perkins also played a little on this. I think I read that this was Mabern's first recording as a leader. Mark Quote
ejp626 Posted June 15, 2004 Report Posted June 15, 2004 Yes, I like it too. I actually got this 2 LPs on 1 CD for Rakin' and Scrapin', even though I did have it on LP. The Rakin' and Scrapin' set has Blue Mitchell playing in addition to George Coleman. Quote
