7/4 Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Jeeeeeeeeeeeessssuuuuuuuuus. Oh, Jeeeesssuuuuuuuuusssssssss! Jesus left Chi-ca-go. Now, on his way to New Orleans. Let's clear something up here. Berigan is a bean wacker. The Most Rev. Billy G. is not. He's a plank slapper. He slaps the plank. Oh Yeah? Well..you are a post inflator...and suffer from VFWPPS (Very few words per post syndrome) What you talkin' about. That one had 25 words. That's plenty. Quote
7/4 Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 you are a post inflator ...and it's not like I had anything to say! Quote

7/4 Posted August 19, 2004 Report Posted August 19, 2004 Just make sure to buy some cheap sunglassess. What a wonderfull tune. A Fool For Your Stockings.... and that may have been the last great album they released before their departure to "I Want My MTV" land. El Loco did have some great tunes, but expreimentation made it a thin sounding album. Those were the days! Quote
AmirBagachelles Posted August 20, 2004 Report Posted August 20, 2004 Webroot, Lavasoft (ad-aware), Search & Destroy, and PestPatrol. Those are the big four, they work to some degree, and the two nice things about these is that they are somewhat free and unlike AV you don't blow up your system by duplicating their use. Trend Micro will have an excellent pay-for antispyware product ready by the end of Sept, they have the best clean-up tools among the AV companies, but they don't as of yet have the spyware product ready. But they will. Quote
Brad Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 Norton's detected adware on my computer but when I go to the program in question to delete it won't let me. Any suggestions? When the particular adware tries to send the information, Norton detects and it's permanently blocked. Does that make it harmless? Quote
AmirBagachelles Posted August 21, 2004 Report Posted August 21, 2004 I'd rather not have it on my system, but if it is currently blocked, then it may be harmless. Norton and all the big brands can detect some, block some, and remove none. Quote
Jazzmoose Posted August 22, 2004 Report Posted August 22, 2004 There are different degrees of dangerousness in adware - spyware - trojans. Heh. Heh heh. He said "Trojans". Quote
