Jim Dye
If you dig Sharon Jones and the Dap-Kings, you got to pick this one up. http://www.daptonerecords.com/pages/dap003LP.html Dusty Groove says: Super-heavy funk from late great Desco scene! The Mighty Imperials were one of the best funky 45 groups to record for deep funk Desco label -- and their first album was never properly released. Now, the whole thing's finally out officially -- a funky treasure that sounds like a lost 70s gem! Go get it!!!

Noj
Wow, I'll want this one. I've got some super funky Joseph Henry tracks on some compilations somewhere, I'm sure it is more of the same! Edit: That's right, I have Spike's Choice, The Desco Funk 45 Collection featuring "I Feel Right" and "Who's The King?" The latter track I was familiar with from the Funk Spectrum series of compilations. Edited October 6, 2004 by Noj
