ghost of miles Posted November 20, 2004 Report Posted November 20, 2004 While doing some research on Shorty Rogers for Night Lights, I came across a reference to his involvement with Bobby Bryant's 1969 Pacific Jazz album JAZZ EXCURSION INTO HAIR. Is it any good? I'd love to hear it... think Cuscuna might be persuaded to re-issue this one anytime soon? B-) Quote
Bill Fenohr Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 Ghost, I would not hold my breath waiting for this one to be reissued. PM me if you would like a burn. Quote

DMP Posted November 21, 2004 Report Posted November 21, 2004 It's not bad, but his other album for the label - "Earth Dance" - is stronger. Like many other PJ/World Pacific LPs of that period (Ernie Watts, Freddie Robinson), I don't think we'll see them reissued for awhile. Quote
