wesbed Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 I'm fine. Things are fine. My life doesn't change too much from day to day. I took a week off work at Thanksgiving, then I had a sinus infection for a couple of weeks (fixed with antibiotics), then I had a couple of weeks off work at Christmas, then January started (which is the busiest month at the place where I work... about 10 hours per day till the end of the month). I've been scanning the Org! but haven't felt compelled to write anything. I don't know why. I go in phases I suppose. I'll get back when the inspiration moves me. I've spent most of my evenings over the last week watching the first season of '24' on DVD. Did you ever try to watch 24 episodes of a TV series in a single week? Anyway, I've enjoyed the hell out of the first sesason of the series (and I never expected to). I'll be finishing the series, probably, tomorrow. Quote
AfricaBrass Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 I'm glad to see your well, Wes. I feel your pain, I've been in sinus infection/ear infection hell on/off for the last couple of months. I enjoyed a dual ear infection for the last week and a half. Quote
wesbed Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 (edited) I feel your pain, I've been in sinus infection/ear infection hell on/off for the last couple of months. I enjoyed a dual ear infection for the last week and a half. I nearly had to beg to get in to see a doctor. The doc didn't have an available appointment till the receptionist asked if I had insurance. When I replied with a 'yes' and a brand of insurance the doctor's office already accepts (dah, why do you think I'm calling this office?), suddenly, the doctor did have time to see me. I advised the doctor I had a sinus infection. The doctor had one of his students examine me, with my permission of course. The student doctor asked me what I thought my problem was. I advised her I had a sinus infection. She examined my ears, nose, and all. She advised me I had an ear infection and it's a good thing I decided to see the doctor. "Really?" said I. Baby, baby, baby... keep on rockin' me. Edited January 11, 2005 by wesbed Quote
AfricaBrass Posted January 11, 2005 Report Posted January 11, 2005 That's aggravating! I'm glad you got some help. I've had my sinus infection since early November and I finally gave in and went to the doctor after the first ear infection knocked me out. Quote
