K2 vs SACD hybrid

If you had to choose between the two when ordering from yourmusic.com, which would you go with.

Note: You do not have capability to play SACD and since the medium appears to be dying at best, probably never will.

In my experience, it varies from disc to disc. I think the Benny Carter "Jazz Giant" sounds better on SACD, but the Cannonball Adderley "Live in San Francisco" sounds better in K2.

If you're talking about the CD layer, I don't agree; to my ears and on my system the SACD sounds slightly better.

It's fair to say, though, that the recording is not one of the best - and that's an understatement... I wonder what state the tapes are in.
