As regular readers of my ongoing tale know, I am learning StarOffice, which I believe works exactly the same as Microsoft Word.

Today I typed my resume. I'm not sure how, exactly, but I got it to put a bullet in all the places I wanted one (at the start of each achievement listed under a given employment).

But when I printed it out, each bullet had the number 10 inside of it. What the heck is that? How do I remove the number 10, and replace it with a solid bullet?

I know how to create more bullets, I think, but I'm not sure why the program knew that one should go where it did, in just the right place. So I don't know what I did right, let alone what I did wrong.

And as I say, I have no idea what someone was thinking when he thought I would want a bullet with a number 10 inside of it. Any ideas on how to make a solid bullet?

OK, I've found where the bullet with the 10 comes from, and I changed it to another type of bullet, so I think I have answered my question.

I still don't understand what the 10 is for, but it's late and I can try to figure that out another day.
