Brad Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 Has anybody heard of this music burning service. My son downloaded and he says it gets songs through Itunes but it's free. Without iTunes it wouldn't work. That doesn't sound too kosher and songs for free? I'm a little suspicious. Quote
marcello Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 This is another peer to peer site somewhat like Napster used to be. My son uses it also and you don't need ITUNES, I never use it and anyway, 160bit MP3 files sound terrible to my ears. Quote
JSngry Posted April 27, 2005 Report Posted April 27, 2005 Beware - many versions of Limewire are LOADED with spyware, some of it quite cumbersome to remove. One of my kids put it on the computer (w/o permission, of course) and it took me just a second to remove the program, but about 4 houts to clean up/off all the spyware it installed. Quote
