This was an interesting and enjoyable gig. Andrew's surprise guest was Charles Tolliver on trumpet!! And Revillot played the whole set. The drummer was not the Leroy Jones, but Eric McPherson.

As usual in an Andrew Hill gig - moments of brilliance, moments of ragged ensembles, all combining into a wondrous thing that is exclusively Andrew.

It was nice to see a fellow board member there and he was lucky enough to stay for the second set.
