Dan Gould Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 Check out this Ebay auction. There's a link to Jack's cut, though I'm a bit afraid to click on it. If someone has more guts than I do, please report back. http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4728933928&rd=1 Then the same dealer offers this Burt Reynolds album, also with a sound sample link: http://cgi.ebay.com/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewI...4728941368&rd=1 Be afraid. Be very afraid. Quote
Dave James Posted May 19, 2005 Report Posted May 19, 2005 (edited) Nicholson sings "La Vie En Rose" at the end of the movie "Something's Gotta Give". Maybe that's what's being auctioned off. His vocalizing is stiff and strained, but not entirely unpleasant. Not sure I'd want a whole album of him, but in a very small dose at the tail end of a pretty good movie, it worked just fine. Up over and out. Edited May 19, 2005 by Dave James Quote

They call me Gutzilla... I checked it out, and it's...pretty funny. Jack's singing this beautiful, melancholy, rubato ballad with a really nice string arrangement, and he sounds for all the world like... BOBBY VINTON!!! inDEED! Quote
Ron S Posted May 20, 2005 Report Posted May 20, 2005 Hey, if Marlon Brando could sing the lead in "Guys and Dolls," anything's possible. Quote
