a movie about Paco de Lucia. What a badass.

Don't want this to slip by unnoticed. There is some great music and interesting history/comments in there. Worth watching imo.

I know there's like three of us reading this thread, but... :winky:

Mercifully just a little footage of Al. Nice duet from the late 80's with Paco and John, though. I think they're playing "Spain". But the stuff with the singers is pretty incredible.

Kinda...I share what I'm listening to in hope that someone else will be interested. Sometimes it stimulates conversation, sometimes it doesn't.

I'll have to check out that Paco video this evening....

I'm not big on gnawa music, but am very curious about this release - will have to check around on some European sites, i guess.

For those interested - and I know some of these world music discs are tough to find - emusic has a ton of very fine offerings.
