JFP label

I recently bought three Jazz French Productions titles on ebay from producer Alain Dupuy-Raufaste:

Andrew Hill - Les Trinitaires (JFP002)

Jaki Byard - July in Paris (JFP003)

Tapscott/Simmons - Among friends (JFP004)

and was very impressed by the product, not only for the quality of the music, but also for the packaging, the liner notes, the photos...

I´ve tried to do some research, but their website http://www.jazzfriends.com/ doesn´t work anymore.

Any comments on this label? brownie?

Anyone got a complete list of their releases?

Isn't there a Ricky Ford album or two on the label as well?

At least one Ricky Ford album on JFP is "Balaena"(JFP 005) recorded live at the Sunset Jazz Club in Paris on 6/30-31/99 with George Cables, Cecil McBee and Ed Thigpen.

I like their output so far. They unfortunately do not seem to have survived distribution problems. Bad sign that their website has disappeared. It was accessible not so long ago!

Their Hill album was excellent, as was the Simmons/Tapscott. Got the Sir Hanna live date with Richard Davis and Andrew Cyrille recently and enjoyed that one, too!
