bertrand Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 I noticed a couple of rare tracks I would like to buy from one of the European iTune stores. How does one proceed? Can I use my U.S. credit card to open an account? Each tune is .99 euros. Will I basically be charged this price at the current exchange rate, or will there be a bunch of hidden fees? Obviously, there are none of the customs fees and shipping fees some of you are slapped with! Is it secure. or will my credit card number be stolen (happened to me in France 2 years ago)? Thanks in advance, Bertrand. Quote
Claude Posted June 18, 2005 Report Posted June 18, 2005 (edited) I think iTunes purchases are limited to the "local" store of the customer. You cannot choose other iTunes stores. Edited June 18, 2005 by Claude Quote
bertrand Posted June 20, 2005 Author Report Posted June 20, 2005 (edited) Hmmm... The 'details' page on my account gives me the option of changing countries. I tried to do that, and they said I have to spend my $23 credit first (a Christmas present)! I only buy a song here and there from time to time, so that will take me a while. I hope the tune I want is still there when I'm done! Bertrand. Edited June 20, 2005 by bertrand Quote
