danasgoodstuff Posted August 5, 2005 Report Posted August 5, 2005 The contents of the long-awaited (by some...) box set of The Band have been posted on the net at http://theband.hiof.no/albums/a_musical_history.html Looks good, with lots of rareties of various sorts, as well as big chunks of the essential regular stuff spread over 5 CDs and 1 DVD, including stuff with Ronnie Hawkins, Dylan and early singles on their own. Robertson was heavily involved, Hudson less so, Helm not... Quote

Some of this material has been sold as many times as Kind of Blue. Too bad that Levon had no input - from what I've read, he will have nothing to do with Robertson. Quote
