felser Posted October 2, 2005 Report Posted October 2, 2005 What I'd really like to see Mosaic put out is the Chico Hamilton's with Charles Lloyd and Gabor Szabo. The Pacific Jazz stuff is nice, but really tame compared to the prime stuff with Lloyd. Quote

I don't find the PJ "tame". . . it's quite intricate and complex in comparison but I find it exciting to listen to as well. Seems that Hamilton is just not considered "salesworthy" as very few of the Mosaic contents have appeared under their own cover, and not much of the Impulse or Warner etc. either (domestically).
