I was thinking that Marty Ehrlich's Side by Side is a good candidate, except there's a trombine instead of trumpet, and Andrew Cyrille's on it. Not too out, but edgy enough to hold your interest. Ted Curson's Plenty of Horn is another good one, if its still available. I have the Old Town Japanese import, but I think there's several versions out there. Quote
