So often that strip leaves gum on the CD case and turns it into a mess. I've tried white spirit which cleans it off but also fogs the CD case. Anyone got any better ideas? Talk about customer unfriendly! They don''t use these strips in Europe.

DON'T SPEND MONEY!

I RUB MY THUMB BEHIND MY EAR AND THEN RUB THE STUFF OFF. :bad: TO MY WIFE'S DISGUST, IT WORKS ON FRIDGES AND ALL SORTS OF HER STUFF.

Reading this post will definitely help keep me on my diet.

AND ALL SORTS OF HER STUFF.

I'm afraid to even ask.

BESTINE!!!! dagnabbit! :angry::D

the WD40 and Goo Gone are too oily and will no doubt leave a residue as well as that awful petrol smell. Might even stain the booklets if they are light and get into the fibers of the paper.

Bestine was used mainly as a rubber cement thinner back in the publishing days of placing old "paste ups" when something was not able to go thru the waxing machine. You can get a small can that is similar to the kind the Tin Man used, but flat. Dribbles out just enough and wipe the residue with a tissue a couple times.

No; you've got the same muck behind your ear as I have.

MG

But it's not magnificent.
