My battle with LP was not a schoolyard fight He objected to me making a comment that disagreed with him No Problem But his approach was to attack me though my private email system Making it Public was 1 the best idea I had to stop him 2 make it public so that others would know what to expect if they disagreed with him I have had numerous emails from others who have had similar experiences with this guy I accept this is your board.. but the initial premise was that it was an open board I have no objection to opposite opinions to mine We post them openly.. we discuss them openly not by insults (though they weren't that clever.. but the intent was there.). via private email systems I have no objection to a public insult, I can deal with that but if you object back.. Do it publicly not in my private mail box.. if he had it would never have gone this far. I don't know if I will stick around here.. maybe so, maybe not I can absolutely guarantee that I will disagree with someone on something I can absolutely state that if they respond with private hate mail, I will make their response public wherever I can. We disagree in a public forum, we can settle it in a public forum If we had it would not have gone on as long There are numerous others who have had similar problems with this guy Had they done what I did.. we wouldn't be here. Shrug off the Moderator..? It's their board.. we were invited here with claims of openess and freedom.. I don't really want to use foul language., or post pornographic images . see my swearing with beer comments.. but if necessary I'll give what I get.. But I never believed in Utopia Not even in Bullettin Boards I do believe the old Power Corrupts line though... How many of your comments did Use3D delete? None. I believe as the moderator he should be able to use his discretion to stop certain discussions from getting out of hand, and I feel he was right in stopping whatever you had going with LP. While the decision to move one of your messages to a related thread can be questioned, I don't think his action warrants the overreaction you have displayed. Nepotism? Censorship? Corruption?
