Need input on two DVDs

I would like to know how the quality is on two DVDs out there:

Horace Silver Quintet (with Tom Harrell etc.) and Paris Reunion Band (Joe Henderson/Woody Shaw etc.).

How is the picture quality on these? I'm also curious about the quality of the performance on the Paris Reunion Band. None of their CDs are very highly regarded (see the Woody Shaw discography), but on the other hand, how much footage is there out there of Joe and Woody?

I have the Horace. Picture and sound is average for a 1970's TV recording. No high production values, but nothing that'll prevent your enjoyment, either. Performance is pretty good IIRC (haven't watched it in a while) and it's certainly interesting to see Harrell (Berg is no slouch, either).

Worth having.

I have a laserdisc of the Paris Reunion Band. Not sure if it's the same, but it's Live at the Theaterhuase, Stuttgart, with Woody Shaw, Curtis Fuller, Nat Adderley, Walter Bishop, Joe Henderson, Nathan Davis, Idris Muhammad, and Jimmy Woode, recorded in 1988. I haven't watched this in a while, but I certainly recall enjoying it very much.

I've got the same laserdisc kh1958 has. I didn't enjoy it that much. Woody's especially weak. Nat Adderley tries to assert some leadership (I think Nathan Davis was technically the leader), but it doesn't work.
