Jazz Kat Posted January 8, 2006 Report Posted January 8, 2006 This DVD is killer. Don Pullen is quite an organist. I learned a lot just by watching him play Bolivar Blues. He changed the whole way I play chords now. The rest of the DVD is awesome. Scofield's sound is cooking, though sometimes I wish he'd get a more beautiful sound for those ballads. Marvin Smitty Smith is a freakin monster. And Joe Lovano is pretty nice too on the last set. If you haven't bought this, it is highly recommended. Quote
