Quincy Posted April 13, 2010 Report Posted April 13, 2010 I was a big Fred Lynn fan as a kid (yes, Dan, part of my "Bosox-are-my-favorite-team-after-the-Yanks" heresy ) and really treasured this one--can't remember if Topps did these composite-rookie cards any other year besides '75 or not: They did them like that for a number of years before and after. As a kid they were my least favorite card so mine are in great shape since they went in the shoebox and stayed there. I have Mike Schmidt's rookie card which he shares with Ron Cey, yet look who ends up in the center. One of these isn't like the other. And way to rub in that the Fred Lynn rookie is one of about 4 cards left that I need to complete that set. Quote
