Butch Warren

Does anyone know anything about the life of Butch Warren for the last 10 or 20 years and specifically now? I understand that he is or was in the DC area and has been in the news in the last year or so.

I've posted details elsewhere. Butch will show up sporadically, then disappear for months on end. Last time I saw him was at a Katrina benefit on 9/11/05. He said he had not played bass in a year. He played bass for a half a tune that night, and sang one other tune.

When he's together, he can still play great. But he has not gigged steadily in many years.

I also suggest doing a search to see what else we have previously discussed.
