BruceH Posted May 19, 2006 Report Posted May 19, 2006 I only have Good Move so far, but now I'm thinking maybe I should get some of those 'food' albums. Quote
Cliff Englewood Posted May 22, 2006 Report Posted May 22, 2006 I was listening to the twofer at the weekend and the "The Soul Book" definitely gets a He was giving off a bit of a Patton vibe, in that you had to really listen to hear what was going on, very subtle stuff. The sax and guitar player, Edlin "Buddy" Terry/Vinnie Corrao, are pretty good too. Quote
mjzee Posted February 16, 2015 Report Posted February 16, 2015 Just finished listening to the recent Japanese reissue of All That's Good. Wow. Gave me chills when I listened to it. I loved the way he used those voices, and how they fit so well in the instrumental blend. And so greasy! A word we haven't used here lately, but so descriptive of this album. Great concept, great execution; a real winner. Kudos to the tight, tasty band also. Sound quality is excellent. We should have a thread here on Ronnie Braithwaite's BN covers. I love them. Quote
