I was listening to the twofer at the weekend and the "The Soul Book" definitely gets a :tup

He was giving off a bit of a Patton vibe, in that you had to really listen to hear what was going on, very subtle stuff. The sax and guitar player, Edlin "Buddy" Terry/Vinnie Corrao, are pretty good too.

Just finished listening to the recent Japanese reissue of All That's Good. Wow. Gave me chills when I listened to it. I loved the way he used those voices, and how they fit so well in the instrumental blend. And so greasy! A word we haven't used here lately, but so descriptive of this album. Great concept, great execution; a real winner. Kudos to the tight, tasty band also. Sound quality is excellent.

We should have a thread here on Ronnie Braithwaite's BN covers. I love them.
