ejp626 Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Don't know if this is for real, but was reading about a guy in Australia who is collecting vomit bags from different air carriers (unused presumably). So I'll bring that up the next time I get hassled a bit over my jazz collection. I basically collect three things - jazz and a bit of classical music, DVDs and books. In none of these cases am I particularly worried about first, second, etc. printing/pressing. I am very much about using the media and not storing it away in a vault. So that's not too much like a real collector. On the other hand, I have more music, books, video etc. than I can comfortably listen to in a typical year and I am a bit like a junky in needing a fix of something new on a monthly basis. Anyway, if anyone wants to share stories about their collections, please go ahead. Quote
BeBop Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Sounds like you wouldn't be impressed by my original Royal Air Cambodge air sickness bag. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 Cambodge? That's pretty impressive. Quote
7/4 Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 I have a very nice nose goblin collection. I've been working on it since I was a kid. Quote

Funny, this thread immediately made me think of Stimpy's booger collection that he had stuck under his foot stool. You know, the one that sang as a barbershop quartet. Quote

kinuta Posted February 19, 2006 Report Posted February 19, 2006 I've always been a collector. I started off with matchbox labels and book matches, cigarette packets, magazines, especially Eagle,45's, lps, cassettes, cds, Betamax tapes, VHS tapes, Super VHS tapes and DVDs. I knew I was odd when my dad took me to a football game and I spent the time happily collecting used matchsticks. That was the end of my dad's efforts to introduce me to manly pursuits like football.
