Ran Blake on WGBH tonight

Just got this e-mail from the Blake folks:

Just a quick note to let you know that Ran will be

interviewed on WGBH radio's "Jazz with Eric in the

Evening" tonight at about 9:30 p.m. The program airs

in the Boston-area at 89.7 FM. You can also stream the

show on your computer by going to www.wgbh.org,

clicking "radio" on the left of the page, and clicking

on "Listen Live."

Ran's next performance is Saturday, April 1 at MIT's

Killian Hall (160 Memorial Drive). This is the

Boston-area CD Release party for his new CD, All That

Is Tied. Ran plays first at 8 p.m., followed by a set

by Charles Gayle. Tickets are $10; $7 for students and

senior citizens. Advance tickets are available at

Twisted Village (12 Eliot Street, Cambridge).

Been absorbing that new CD of Blake's. Some of his music is so stark. Went to hear and record Fred Hersch tonight in Grand Rapids so missed this radio program. Anyone catch it?
