slide_advantage_redoux Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Unbelievable! I viewed a Comcast video earlier today featuring this 4 yr old boy who is playing trumpet. REALLY playing trumpet. Not being pc savvy, I don't know how to send nor post the link. Perhaps someone here knows? This kid is shown playing Girl from Ipanema with a jazz band at a coffee house! He has a pocket trumpet...good thing since he is so small still. Amazing. Check it out. www.comcast.com Quote
DukeCity Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Yeah, that kid (now 5 years old) was on Leno a few weeks ago. He played "It Might as Well be Spring" with Kevin Eubanks and the boys. Pretty freaky. Now, if he could just get a habit, and an agent who takes 50 or 60% off the top... Quote

Maybe he'll be hipped to how sad the state of affairs are in the music biz, and keep that shit as a hobby! Quote
Claude Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 (edited) The Comcast videos are for comcast subscribers only. There is a 4 minute video linked in this CBS article. The boy is amazing! http://www.cbsnews.com/stories/2006/01/10/...in1195835.shtml Edited April 13, 2006 by Claude Quote

mgraham333 Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 His girlfriend shoots him with a spitwad by the monkey bars.... Quote
Rooster_Ties Posted April 13, 2006 Report Posted April 13, 2006 Shame his shelf-life is limited. I mean, if he could somehow milk the "4-year old trumpet prodigy" thing for 10 or 20 years, he could probably really make a career out of it. Quote
