Stefan Wood Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 I've been a Mac man for all my life, but recently I purchased a Dell PC for the purpose of learning new software that is PC only -- I'm looking to expand my computer skills, so I can expand my horizons in looking for a new job. I didn't want to buy a new monitor, and I know there are devices to connect two computers to one monitor. Now, the catch is a Mac and a PC. Can I use any device available (I think they are called KVM switches)? I'm open to suggestions. Quote
Kevin Bresnahan Posted May 2, 2006 Report Posted May 2, 2006 KVM would work fine. They usually have a hot switch on the keyboard to throw the switch. Belkin makes the best out there. You can find them at CompUSA, Staples, etc. Another option is if you have a monitor with analog and digital inputs, you can feed the PC video into one and the Mac into the other. The only drawback to this would be that you'd have to have two keyboards and two mice. Quote
