New Orleans Trumpeter George Girard

I'm interested in the New Orleans jazz trumpeter George Girard. Can anyone rccommend recordings by him?

if I remember correctly, he died very young - Al Rose wrote about him in his autobiography. I've heard him on a few LPs that were ok but somewhat disappointing, but I'm not sure if I can put my hands on them - as I recall they were on some label that was dedicated to New Orleans -

I like his stuff with the Basin Street Six. Really nice. Not sure if any of those are on cd. He's featured on one of the "Sound of New Orleans" volumes on Storyville on cd.

This one, Volume 6, was on cd, I think it may be out of print currently.

that's the label - it's fairly easy to find these as used LPs -

Probably not hard to find the used or new cd either. I think it's longer.
