McCoy Tyner Septet Live on WGBH, Boston

McCoy Tyner's Septet (Dave Leibman, Wallace Roney, Steve Turre, Donald Harrison, Eric Kamau Gravatt, Charnett Moffett) are opening the three day Beantown Jazz Festival this Friday night with a 90 minute set from The Berklee Performance Center in Boston.

This performance will be broadcast LIVE over WGBH. I will be co-hosting the evening with Eric Jackson.

Bassist/Vocalist Esperanza Spalding with Christian Scott on trumpet will play the opening set before McCoy takes the stage

It all begins at 8pm.
