How come when I type in The Beatles on I-tunes, all that comes up are tribute bands? Does I-Tunes not have any Beatles tracks? I wanna hear a clip of A Day In the Life.

I just bought Grant Greens's Jam Master volume three today.

From the rumors I've heard. the Beatles catalog is being remastered. It is with these new remastered versions that the Beatles will finally go "digital" download-wise.

Hopefully well-mastered, mono & stereo versions on 1 disc, plus SACDs/DVD-As containing high-rez versions of same plus 5.1 high-rez mixes.

Hoping for the best, expecting the worst...

Posted by Eric Savitz

A short post, which potentially could make a lot of music fans happy.

In response to a question, EMI Music Vice Chairman David Munns says Beatles songs would be “coming soon” to the Web. The band’s music has not been available on iTunes or other legal music download services. Munns made the comment while speaking on a panel at the Web 2.0 conference in San Francisco.

He provided no details.
