Noj Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 I have large Photoshop files of my artwork on my G4 at home. I tried to make them into jpegs to post as some shameless self-promotion but to no avail. Can anyone offer a tutorial on this task? Quote
Jim Dye Posted August 20, 2003 Report Posted August 20, 2003 If you are using Photoshop 7, 6, or 5.5, you can do this. Go to the file menu and choose "Save For Web". From there it gives you some options and actually shows up to 4 previews so you can choose the amount of compression that is acceptable. I use jpeg compression at 60 (out of 100) quality. Good luck! Can't wait to see some of your work. Quote
Noj Posted August 20, 2003 Author Report Posted August 20, 2003 Thanks a lot Jim, I'll give it a try when I get home. Quote
Jim Alfredson Posted August 21, 2003 Report Posted August 21, 2003 The "Save For Web" feature is fantastic! Also noteworthy for web-design, the slicing tool: You can slice up your images any way you want and it automatically saves the slices in sequential order. Woot! Quote
