Hardbopjazz Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 What was the first album that you can think of that offered bonus tracks? Quote
brownie Posted December 27, 2006 Report Posted December 27, 2006 Back in 1949, Dial issued one of the very first LP, a ten-incher, that had alternates of sides recorded by Charlie Parker for the label. That was 'The Bird Blows the Blues', Dial LP nr. 1! Quote
Eloe Omoe Posted December 29, 2006 Report Posted December 29, 2006 Back in 1949, Dial issued one of the very first LP, a ten-incher, that had alternates of sides recorded by Charlie Parker for the label. That was 'The Bird Blows the Blues', Dial LP nr. 1! In the Cd era, one of the first was the Bluebird reissue of Gil Evans' "There Comes a Time". I remember that was one of the reasons I bought a Cd player way back then! Quote
