Thought I'd repost this from the Jazz Programmers List for any interested listeners:

Just wanted to mention that my new show "The R&B Chronicles" debuts

this Friday evening at 7pm EST. Earth, Wind and Fire will kick off the

show. This was already planned before James Brown passed. JB will be the

featured artist on my January 12th program. Future shows......Sly, Issac

Hayes, Stevie, Aretha, Otis, Booker T and many others. "The R&B

Chronicles" is a music biography....which falls under the education

banner..... which is in line with the mission of this electronic media outlet.

You can listen by going to www.whro.org and clicking onto Public Radio

then on to 89.5 WHRV FM. Same for my jazz program.
