replying to PMs

When I hit the reply button after reading a private message, i don't get a box to enter text and can't figure out how to do it. Anyone clue me in on what I am doing wrong?

No problem here, the board sofware seems ok. I can click the Reply link and a box opens in the same window.

I have internet explorer version 6.

You don't get a box to enter text after hitting the reply button? What happens exactly after you click the button, does a blank screen appear? Or some other error? I need more information.

Thanks USE3D.Maybe it is working.

Here's what happens.

After I read the message in INBOX, it click on the reply button at the bottom.

then I get a box with "welcome to your control panel" at the top, then Recipient's name.

then a series of bars: One says "enter your message" but there is no box there. Lower down is "enter your post" and there is the text of the message I received. I guess I am supposed to scroll that down and put my message on top of it?

skeith, are you by any chance using a laptop? I know that the colors of this board get kind of messed up on laptop screens. Maybe you can't see the boxes clearly because they blend in with the background.

In any case, yes the box with the original message in it is where you put your reply. You can either leave the original message in there and type your reply, or erase it and type your reply.

The box should be directly across from all the Clickable Smilies.
