Hardbopjazz Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 I was listening to a Teddy Edwards record this evening and I started to really dig the pianists playing on the record. I realized I don’t know much about him. I do have him on a Sonny Stitt record, "Kaleidoscope" and 2 Gene Ammons records "Boss Tenors" and "Red Top". Are there any other records with John Houston that is worth checking out? Quote
Hardbopjazz Posted May 18, 2007 Author Report Posted May 18, 2007 AMG doesn't have any bio on him when you pull up his entry. Quote
Chuck Nessa Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 A quick check of Bruyninckx reports sessions with Earl Coleman, Louis Jordan, Harold Land, Gene Ammons (4), Curtis Amy (2) and Stitt. Quote
4XB Posted May 18, 2007 Report Posted May 18, 2007 (edited) AMG doesn't have any bio on him when you pull up his entry. No John Houston well known, but Joe Houston . Shitt John Houston is a pianoplayer. Edited May 18, 2007 by 4XB Quote
