Stefan Wood
Dr. Dremo's in Rosalyn/Courthouse area in Northern VA has great burgers. And they brew their own beer!

Free For All
Well, I finally unpacked this bad boy and tried it out for the first time. Ground up a couple chuck steaks. I'd have to say that the resulting burgers were OUTSTANDING! I was amazed at the difference between the freshly ground meat and the store-bought version. It was definitely worth the extra effort. At some point I'm going to attempt some homemade brats/sausage. I just ordered a meat grinder. I've been contemplating it for a while and this thread pushed me over the edge. I use ground meat to cook with (turkey & beef mostly) and would like to have a little quality control. Plus I'm a "gadget junkie".

RDK
Is the "In & Out" chain as good as "they" say? Not sure, but it is pretty good. Guy In & Out never impressed me much when out west. One chain that did though, was Fatburger. Some good-a-burgers can be found in Queens at Donovan's Pub in both Woodside and Bayside. Bosna-Express in Ridgewood was recommened by clementine and it lived up to the hype. When in Brooklyn, check out Dumont, or Peter Luger if you dare. Yep, Fatburger beats In 'n' Out all to hell. RDK
I can't imagine pineapple on a perfectly innocent burger. Then again, I couldn't imagine it on pizza either. Then again, maybe there's something wrong with my imagination. Don't try - it's all revolting. Pineapple on a burger can be delicious. I love the Hawaiian (pineapple-Teriyaki-swiss) burger at Islands.
RDK
Because of the kids we eat out at a lot of family type chains and a few of the more unusual burgers I really dig are... The Peppercorn burger at Red Robin The Hawaiian at Islands The Jack Daniels burger at Fridays and, in Arizona, I recently had a yummy pesto-mozza burger at Applebys
