Very nice collection of jazz LP's on ebay

You are probably tired of ebay crap, but this looks like a great collection where many should go at bargain prices. Wish I would run into a collection like this at a garage sale.

I do not know many of these titles. If any of you want to recommend some, that would be great.

I see that there's a copy of Cal Tjader's "Hip Vibrations" (Verve). I strongly recommend that! It has a star-studded cast: Herbie Hancock, Ron Carter, Richard Davis, Mel Lewis etc., excellent arrangements, mainly by Benny Golson, and a fine selection of titles, such as "Blues March", "Django" (with a fabulous Hancock solo) and "Canto De Ossanha". Not on CD, so grab this while you can.

This looks like it bears some close inspection. The only thing that puts me off is that this seller seems to have a lot of high negatives.

Did you notice his guarantee? He seems ok to me. ..4000 items sold and a dozen NF's ain't bad odds in the ebay arena. Some people post NF before contacting seller.

His ratio of negatives to positives isn't that bad at all. The most recent negatives (three from one person, who has a LOT of negatives, percentage-wise) seem to be in retaliation for negatives he left, a chance all sellers take when they leave 'em. The others are too far back for me to worry about for a seller with a 99.6% positive ratins. Seems okay to me.
