kh1958 Posted June 5, 2010 Report Posted June 5, 2010 I encountered Michel Camilo when he was the pianist in Paquito D'Rivera's band--they played at the Caravan of Dreams (around 1984, I think). They later had Michel Camilo's Trio perform there, about the time of his first couple recordings on Columbia, it was indeed exciting. Quote
