I saw the Costello/Dylan concert last night. Excellent! I can see how some might be put off by Dylan (he's hard to understand, even if you know all the words to his songs), but having seen him at his touring nadir in the late 80s, I found his show to be very entertaining. The Costello set was even better! Here are the set lists for both performers:

It was announced that they were going to play a show here (Minneapolis) at the end of the month but nothing ever came to be. Now I am debating on driving down to Chicago for one of the three shows.

I would love to see Bob again this year but he doesn't seem to be changing the set list around much the past few years, though I now hear he is playing guitar again on a few songs. Elvis on the other hand has really been changing his set lists up. I have seen him 3 times in the last year, in three different contexts, and only heard 3 songs more then once! :excited:

They are playing in Chicago very soon, at the wonderful Chicago Theatre. I almost sprung for a ticket, but they were a bit pricey and I've seen Dylan countless times already. Plus, the upcoming Neil Young show (also at the Chicago Theatre) has drained my live music fund.
