I have only one vinyl also.

You might try reading William Zinsser's Willie and Dwike: An American Profile - an excellent read. I've only heard them on the one LP I have, but it seems as if their lives might be at least as interesting as their music.

Willie Ruff has written an autobiography, A Call to Assembly, which I haven't read - yet - it's on one of my shelves.

There was a Mainstream side of them live w/Dizzy, early 70s, good stuff.

Yes, that's a really good recording. As I recall it was done at Dartmouth College, which is where I heard them (less Diz) about a decade later. Nice show...
