okay, there may not be a lot of love for this lp, but i enjoy the hell out of it. it kind of sits alongside shades of green (albeit with a smaller group) between the "soul jazz" and "easy listening" periods..........shame it's not on legit cd.....tho i think there was a tocj release...? anyway- opinions welcome, i'm spinning it now for the first time in awhile. peace.

Well, I for one like it. It's really good late night listening. Commercial - yes - and lowish on the jazz content, with a reverby early 70s sound - but me likes.

The cover design is also extremely cool !

I love it! And not just because I'm a GG addict; it's one of my dozen or so most favourite albums of his. Not quite as good as "Easy", "Alive" or "Green is beautiful", but well up there.

And the only one of his albums that made the pop charts.

Indeed there was a TOCJ release (4373, the good ol' days they used the LP number for the CD numbers). I think it's GG's lesser effort but still a nice CD to have.
