EKE BBB Posted December 14, 2007 Report Posted December 14, 2007 Interviewed for Marc Myers' Jazz Wax blog, Dan Morgenstern reports he is currently writting liner notes for an upcoming 2 CD set on Music Masters with Louis Armstrong recordings from a 1937 NBC radio show. Many of the 24 tracks on the first CD have never been released before in any format—not even as bootlegs. The second CD features home recordings from Louis’ private tapes, including some music and conversation. The set is due early next year. Quote

ghost of miles Posted December 16, 2007 Report Posted December 16, 2007 Yes, had meant to post this news myself--thanks for passing it along. BTW Marc is doing fantastic work with that blog--I know a # of Big O posters have checked it out already, but if you haven't, pay him a visit. Quote
