I went to see Randy Weston and his group last night at Dizzy's Club Coca Cola. Ley me tell you, this band played their butts off. If you have a chance to see them this week, don't miss them.

Randy Weston, piano; Billy Harper, tenor saxophone; TK Blue, alto saxophone and flute; Benny Powell, trombone; Alex Blake, bass; Neil Clarke, drums and African percussion.

I wish I was there.

Saw Randy's trio last year and it was one of the best live shows of the year for me.
